Mpls City Council Committee Votes to Lift Ban on Flea Markets

Flea markets are another step closer to returning to Minneapolis.

Thursday, legislation passed a council committee that would lift a 60-year ban on flea markets. If the proposal is given the final go-ahead, they would be regulated like farmers markets and licensed in commercial-zoned areas.

MN College Job Outlook Survey Offers Optimism

The Minnesota College Job Outlook survey has been released and shows more optimism for college graduates in 2013.

The survey is conducted by the St. Cloud State Career Services Center and looks at employers recruiting new college graduates in Minnesota. The university says 111 businesses who attended job fairs in 2012 participated in the survey.
