2nd Teen Admits to Shooting, Killing 5-Year-old in N. Mpls.

A second teenager has admitted to his part in the killing of a 5-year-old boy in North Minneapolis last June.

Julian Kijuan Lamar Anderson, the second gunman accused of killing Nizzel George, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Hennepin County District Court to second-degree intentional murder.

Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed this week Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week in Minnesota.
    
The designation is part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness of the destructive nature of the tree pests, and to spread the word about the "three P's of EAB" - Prepare, Protect, and Plant.
